BREAD MAKING COURSE - £119
If you want to master the techniques of making bread this is the course for you! During the day we will introduce you to all things yeasty - kneading & when to stop, getting the perfect prove to creating the tastiest loaf. We will also cover non-yeast quick breads to show you that bread can be quick and simple too.

SEASONAL FORAGING DAY - £119
Our Seasonal Foraging courses will give you a fascinating insight into the best wild foods of the season. Spend the morning in the woodland & fields learning to find and identify edible plants, seeds, nuts and flowers that grow wild on Colstoun Estate. The course includes a lunch based around wild ingredients which will be prepared by our foraging specialist, Alison Henderson. In the afternoon Alison will guide you through the many ways to transform your foraged finds into something delicious as well as explaining some of the folklore and history of many of the wild plants found on Colstoun.

Our Seasonal Entertaining (formerly known as Smart Kitchen Suppers) course covers a few clever meals that can be prepared in advance so that you don't spend all evening in the kitchen.

On our game courses you will learn how t obring tarditional game dishes into the 21st century. With a few simple tips and tricks will open up a woeld of abundant and affordable food.​

PRESERVING COURSE - £119
On this one day course we will take you on a fabulous journey of preserving, pickling, jam and jelly making. You will gain a practical understanding of the skills and equipment needed to professionally transform foraged or bought produce into wonderfully delicious treats. All recipes will be demonstrated by our chef and then you will move into our practical kitchen where you will be preparing, cooking, sampling and tasting a number of different types of pickles, chutneys, jams and jellies.

FRENCH BISTRO - £119
Don’t be intimidated by the name of the course.... French Bistro is simple, delicious food. This course will introduce you to classic recipes from different regions of France. You will have a number of demonstrations where you will be able to taste and learn about regional differences. You will then be able to enjoy a session in our practical kitchen putting into practice what you have learned.

INTRODUCTION TO BEEKEEPING - £119
Join Brian Poole, Colstoun's Beekeeper on this relaxed one day course on the Colstoun Estate.
Participants will be introduced to the life and management of a beehive and will gain an understanding of the theory behind beekeeping; what is needed when managing bees and the skills to remove the money crop from the hive. There will also be a practical learning session in our apiary.
